Financial District

The Financial District is an area in Los Angeles that was built parallel to the redevelopment of Bunker Hill. This area of Los Angeles is known for the many office skyscrapers and hotels that are related to the financial services including banking and trusts. The Financial District in Downtown Los Angeles is actually considered the centerpoint of the city due to the high visibility from all around. Financial District skyscrapers can be seen from all around Los Angeles.

The area is served by the Los Angeles Metro Rail Red and Blue Lines. The 7^th Street/Metro Center Station is the primary subway station in the Los Angeles Financial District area. This station is located at the intersection of Seventh Street and Flower Street and features two underground levels which are serviced by both a light rail and a heavy rail. The 7^th Street/Metro Station is serviced by the Red line, Purple Line, Silver Line and Blue Line offering transportation into and out of Downtown Los Angeles and also acts as a major transfer station for Metro local lines, buses, rapid lines and various other local transportation services.
